Max Verstappen, born in 1997 to former F1 driver Jos Verstappen, became the youngest driver ever to start a Grand Prix when he debuted with Toro Rosso in 2015 at seventeen. Promoted to Red Bull Racing for 2016, he won on his very first appearance for the team at the Spanish Grand Prix.
He developed into the dominant force of his era, winning four consecutive World Championships from 2021 to 2024, including a record-breaking 2023 season. His combination of raw speed, racecraft and consistency reset the benchmark at the front of the grid.
In 2026 he continues with Red Bull, the only senior team of his career, partnered by promoted rookie-turned-regular Isack Hadjar as he targets a return to the top of the standings.
